Dr. Turner is a native of Greenwood. She began her practice with the Greenwood Eye Clinic, P.A. in 2003. She is a graduate of Furman University. She received her Doctor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Turner has a special interest in diabetic eye disease.

Dr. Turner is the daughter of DeVore Compton. M.D., retired, a founding partner of the Greenwood Eye Clinic. Dr. Turner is an accomplished musician.

Dr. Turner and her husband, Allan Turner, M.D., have a son and two daughters.
