Dr. Austin began his practice with the Greenwood Eye Clinic, P.A. in 2005. He is a native of Columbia, S.C. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree (Cum Laude) in Biology from Furman University. His medical degree was earned at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Austin completed his internship at USC/Richland Memorial/Dorn VA Hospital and his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dr. Austin’s hobbies include water skiing, deer hunting and gardening. He and his wife, Catherine, have five children.
